Two years ago Alice Baptist Youth Group became “REV79”, taking on the vision of this verse in Revelation and working towards disciplining, empowering and equipping young people to share the story of their faith effectively in their everyday settings.

Keeping the heavenward focus of Revelation 7:9, REV79 uses youth-led worship, biblical teaching, small group discussion and purposeful prayer to help it’s young people become “little Christ’s” in their homes and schools, in the community of Alice Springs, in the nation of Australia and all across the world.

REV79 works towards its purpose in a fun, laid back environment where everyone is welcomed to become part of the craziness. Each term includes study nights as well as community service opportunities and nights of pure fun like the annual CROD and The Great & Amazing Chair Game (if you want to know what those are you’ll just have to come along and check it out)!

REV79 is for High School aged young people and runs during the school terms on Friday nights from 7-9pm and is generally held at Alice Springs Baptist Church, with the exception of some events. Term agenda’s are available from the information desk in the foyer of the main auditorium or online.
