The Purpose of the church is the promotion of God’s Glory and the advancement of the Lord’s Kingdom by promoting the spread of the Gospel, the fellowship of believers and the study and understanding of God’s Word.

Our Mission

Our mission is "To see the lost saved and integrated into the life of the Church so that together, as a community of believers, we might live and serve to worship God, growing more and more into the people He has created us to be."

At Alice Springs Baptist Church, we value inspiring worship, practical teaching and genuine relationships. As a church community we are committed to encouraging all who are a part of our community to discover what role they are to play. The church’s commitment is to train, equip and encourage followers of Jesus to be fully who he wants them to be.

Our Hopes For The Future

At ASBC we are seeking to build on our strengths as a family church, providing and maintaining quality ministries in preaching and teaching for adults and quality ministries for our youth and younger children.

With our team of pastors, elders, deacons and staff, we are seeking to build a strong team of gifted and committed leaders, who will, by prayer and the leading of the Holy Spirit, seek to discern and follow the will of God for his church in Alice Springs, and to provide opportunities for meaningful involvement, training, encouragement and pastoral care for a diverse congregation.

 We are seeking to engage more meaningfully with the wider Alice Springs community to actively demonstrate the saving grace of Jesus.
