(Mark 3:1-6) As we continue working our way through the Gospel of Mark we come to another occasion in which Jesus and some of the religious leaders of the time clashed over the Sabbath. In today's passage there is a man in need of healing, and an argument over whether this is an acceptable piece of work. A New Elijah / A New Baptism

(Mark 1:9-13) This week we continue our our series on the Gospel of Mark with the idea that this is a new kingdom and a new king has arrived. There is a new way of doing things, and that requires a proclamation - a way to tell others of the Good News. As Gavin unpacks Jesus' baptism we are challenged that our faith needs to be more than a subtle faith, but instead something that is public.
