Message: “Bible Study and Memorisation” from Iain Anderson
A message from the series "Spiritual Disciplines: Attention With Intention." (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12-13 & Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
As Iain continues our series on Spiritual Disciplines today we come to 2 that most people have experienced; Bible Study and Memorisation. And yet, while these are disciplines that people engage with early on in their Christian walk - they can sometimes lead to guilt. I should be doing this more!
Today we seek to pare these disciplines back to the core of what they are and why we do it.

Today Gordon continues our Spiritual Discipline series with another discipline - simplicity. In the world today it can be incredibly overwhelming trying to deal with all the things around us, clamouring for our attention. So much so that it leads us to ask - Do I own my possessions or do they own me?
Join us as Gordon unpacks what simplicity means and what the Bible says about it.

Scattered throughout 2024 this series explores some practical exercises that we can do to help train and grow our faith. Paul encourages us to not be passive receivers of faith in 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 but like an athlete to exercise and grow our faith, this series will give us practical ways of doing exactly that.
