(1 Kings 18:41-46) As we continue to explore the Mountains of Meeting - Those places and spaces where God meets with people in the Biblical narrative, we come to Mount Carmel and Elijah. While we might immediately think of the showdown against the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, there is another meeting with God in Elijah's life that speaks to what God is wanting to do in us. Join us tonight as Gavin unpacks Elijah's experience on a mountain of meeting.

The mountain in the Bible represents a sacred and distant place, often of solitude – and while we have few mountains in Central Australia, these characteristics echo that of the desert. What may God want to teach us which can only be fully understood after journeying “up the mountain”?
