Message: “Jesus, John The Baptist and Some Perspective” from Simon Duke
A message from the series "The Gospel of Mark." (Mark 6:14-29)
As we continue our journey through Mark's Gospel we come to what appears to be a strange tangent... Here we find out about a situation involving John the Baptist and Herod. Why would Mark leave what was happening with Jesus to share this with us?
Simon takes the opportunity to remind us of the big picture of God's Kingdom at work in Mark's Gospel, and then reminds us of the key question - Who is Jesus?

(Genesis 3:1-24)
Today Simon is continuing our series The Beginning: Genesis Revisited. Where we are exploring some of the timeless truths that are found in the book of Genesis.
Here we are in the garden of Eden, we have seen that creation is good... and yet it is here that temptation and a desire for more is found.
The Beginning is such an important place, but sometimes we can feel we have heard it all before but God's truth is timeless and calls us to revisit what we have already known.
